We are so grateful to everyone who helped make this beautiful blessing happen. I am so excited to be a mom, and Keven is so excited to be a dad. And my dad is over the moon to be a papa, grandpa and Greek.
The former Extra host also stops by live with Kelly and Ryan to make the emotional announcement. We’re having a baby. Oh, my gosh. Wow. I have to say here first because you guys are my family. You guys have been on the journey, and I’m so grateful. Maria, that’s so great for you. How are you feeling? How are you doing? I mean, amazing.
Maria Menounos then outlines all the ways she and Keven tried to conceive over the years. I’m super excited. It’s been doing it a long time, almost like a decade. Guys, it’s been a long time. We’ve done everything. I mean, literally everything. They’ve tried to get me pregnant. That didn’t work. Kevin had a surgery that didn’t work. He’s hung me upside down like a chicken. That didn’t work. Your dad is here.
She also says some of the industry’s biggest stars had her back when it came to discussing surrogacy as an option. Zoe Saldana and Kim Kardashian have been so helpful to me in this journey, and they both gave me all their advice and people and Kim especially gave me this wonderful lawyer named Andy, and he found me this woman, Stephanie, who helped me find my surrogate.

And we’re just so grateful to everybody who has helped us along the way. Back in 2022, the 44 year old got candid about her and Kevin struggles with fertility, telling People magazine, she definitely didn’t think it was going to take this long. She added, it’s been years. We’ve used different services, and different people. It’s just been a very frustrating process.
Now the pair’s dream has come true. Maria Menounos says she knows the sex of the baby, but doesn’t want to share that just yet. And as for the name, we’ve got lists and lists of names. We definitely want to go Greek, especially one name that we love. Adonis. Done. Baby’s name. Thank you. Nagley remembered that. I love that name. We missed that one. Keven and Maria Menounos famously tied the knot on New Year’s Eve in 2017, before the ball dropped in Times Square. The pair got engaged in March 2016. They had a second wedding ceremony ten months after their first swapping vows again in Greece.
