Da brat has announced she is pregnant on Tuesday, sharing photos of her baby bump on Instagram and writing Blessings All 2023. The 48 year old and her wife, Jessica Judy Harris Dupard, who is a mom to three other children from a past relationship, spoke exclusively to People magazine about the happy news. And Da brat admitted she had never thought she would have children.
Da brat never thought was going to have kids. I just thought it wasn’t in the cards for me. I’ve had a great career, a full life. I felt like because I didn’t get pregnant earlier on, then it just wasn’t going to happen for me, she told the publication. Da Brat also revealed she doesn’t have any pregnancy cravings or nausea, but she’s, quote, always sleeping, calling her pregnancy a blessing and sharing her excitement for the situation.
Da brat isn’t the only celebrity who is celebrating a pregnancy. At 48, Hilary Swank is also pregnant with twins. The actress spoke at the Golden Globe and she shared about her excitement for her little one. I’m feeling great. I’m feeling I’m at a good point in my pregnancy. It’s not like too much yet, so I’m feeling blessed to be here. I’m blessed on so many levels on the show.
First of all, congrats on this. What a great role for you. Thank you. True. We’re splitting our pants. Give me all the wardrobe stuff that we’re having a job. Oh yeah. Well, yeah, they didn’t know that I was pregnant for the first twelve weeks because you don’t share that until, you know, everything’s like copacetic.
But I was starting to get really big and I was cutting my pants on my wardrobe on set in the back in order to make my pants fit. But that was thankfully like three days before I was able to tell everybody, what is your body is changing the most? I’ve had three kids. I think right now you’re in my uterus is changing the most.
Did you always want kids? Yeah. You know what, but here’s the crazy thing. I mean, since I was a little girl, I was like, I’m going to have twins someday. I don’t know. I just said that. I always said that. My grandmother’s a twin and my husband’s grandmother’s a twin, so it runs in the family. But I just always felt like I would. I didn’t know I was going to do it at 48, but here we are. Isn’t that beautiful, though? How are you with names? I was such a dork with my kids.
Like I had nicknames, I planned it out how they crimed. I went over with my husband over and over. Well, we’re not finding out the gender until they pop out, so we have to have a couple of names each. And with twins, do you want it to go together? You know what I mean? It’s one of those funny things. Well, you’re giving me more to think about. But I have three months to think on that.
